Explain what it does, who it helps, and how it uses SerpApi. Choose one track.
Participant details
Have the lead participant's name, email, phone, occupation, and years of experience ready. Add names and emails for any teammates.
Disclosures and agreement
State whether the project already existed and list any AI tools used. Read and accept the Rules and Terms & Conditions.

AI use is allowed. Briefly list any AI tools used and remain responsible for every submitted component. AI use does not affect judging.

How we evaluate each project
Judges consider the criteria together without fixed percentage weights, using the submitted project, repository, documentation, and functionality demo.
Idea strength
Is the project based on a clear and compelling insight?
Originality
Does the approach offer something distinctive or thoughtfully recombined?
Technical complexity
Does the implementation demonstrate meaningful engineering effort?
Usefulness
Would the intended user receive practical value from the project?
Meaningful SerpApi usage
Does the project depend on search data to deliver useful functionality?
The demo verifies functionality.
Video production quality does not affect judging. A simple recording is enough when the project's important features can be seen working clearly.

Frequently asked questions
Find quick answers on participation, projects, demos, awards, and submission. The published Rules and Terms remain authoritative.
Can I use any programming language to build my project?
Yes. Use any programming language, framework, or tech stack, as long as your project makes meaningful use of SerpApi.
Do I need to attend in person?
No. The hackathon is fully online and asynchronous. Work from anywhere in India, at your own pace, and submit before the deadline.
Can I participate alone?
Yes. You may submit individually or as part of a team of up to five participants.
Can I submit an existing project?
Yes. Existing projects are eligible when the submitted version demonstrates meaningful SerpApi usage and the work can be reviewed.
Can I use AI tools for my project?
Yes. AI-assisted development is allowed and does not affect judging. List any AI tools you used, and ensure that your submission respects licenses, intellectual-property rights, and all other rules. Leave the field blank if you did not use AI tools.
Does the demo video need professional editing?
No. Keep the screen recording under three minutes and show the project's core functionality with the project running locally. Narration is optional, and you may speed up the video. Test the link in an incognito or private window before submitting.
Can one project win more than one prize?
Each project may receive one competitive award. Participation credits remain available to every valid submission, including award recipients.
How will I submit?
Sign in with GitHub and use the submission dashboard. You can save a draft, return to finish it, and submit the completed entry through the website before the deadline.
